What Animals do Vultures Eat?

Vultures are scavengers and eat dead animals, but they rarely attack healthy animals. They wait for a bigger scavenger to eat first and gorge themselves on carcasses until they bulge and sit to digest their food.

Vultures are of great value in hot regions, especially as scavengers, because their stomach acid is exceptionally corrosive. They vomit when threatened to lighten their stomach load and also to evaporative cool themselves.

Some of them hunt small prey, like lizards, birds, insects, and rodents.
